Alastair Mitchell

Alastair has spent more than 30 years in the legal sector, having held the role of COO at Linklaters, HFW, Pinsent Masons and, most recently, Cripps. Having worked in both Asia and Central and Eastern Europe, he has extensive international experience.

During his time at Pinsent Masons, Alastair oversaw the restructuring of several support services, leading to significant improvements in service and cost reductions of more than 10%. He developed numerous internal teams across the business to help them run more effectively and improve service delivery. He has led major projects, including M&A, cost-reduction programmes and system implementations.

Having worked in some of the world’s leading law firms, Alastair has first-hand experience of the unique characteristics of these organisations. He can relate to the challenges their leaders and aspiring leaders face, the very high standards expected, and the intricacies of firm dynamics.

Alastair is a qualified executive coach and mentor. He is skilled in developing strong, collaborative and talented teams, while supporting opportunities to develop and promote young talent.
