Steve is a senior L&D professional, coach, learning facilitator and award winning broadcast actor. He has broad experience across the professional service firm sector, working at all levels from senior associate through to senior partner and C-Suite/Board, at an individual and team level.

Steve is a skilled, qualified individual and team coach and certified brain-based conversations facilitator, he works with individuals around the world at all levels focusing on leadership behaviours, the real-time practice of EQ and effective communication at an individual and team level.

Initially qualifying as a solicitor, Steve moved into learning and development roles. He was Head of Legal Learning for SJ Berwin where he took charge of all firm-wide legal training, across all levels of seniority. After taking on a global associate skills development role with a global law firm, he became Head of Learning and Development for a leading private client firm where he was responsible for creating, designing and implementing a programmatic approach to learning and development across the firm.

Steve is the author of the book ‘21st Century Solicitor: How to make a real impact as a junior commercial lawyer’ (Bloomsbury/Hart Publishing), an honest guide to the foundation elements for creating a meaningful lawyer ‘brand’ early on in the legal career journey.

He is an experienced business role-player and skills practice facilitator with accreditations across a wide spectrum of psychometric tools. Focusing on balance, personal brand, team leadership, challenging conversations and interpersonal relationships, Steve works with individuals and teams helping them reach their full potential and make lasting changes.
