The case study explores Rupa’s first year as partner in a major professional services firm and delves into the issues and themes related to her transition to a formal leadership role. All the while it looks at the issues from the perspective of being a new partner who just happens to be female. It’s set in a European context and presents a number of challenges and dilemmas with which Rupa has to navigate during her first year as a partner.
