How to fast track new client relationships and cross-sell

Continuing our ‘what clients really want’ campaign, PSFI partner Ori Wiener sits down again with Marie Stevens (Chairman of the Independent Compliance Committee of Caesars Entertainment UK) and Palwinder Hare (Head of Legal Group M&A and Corporate at Standard Chartered Bank) to discuss how to build good client relationships.

In this, the second of a three-part series, Marie and Palwinder, together with Ori, share their insights from a client’s perspective on how to fast track new relationships and effective cross-selling.

Marie has an extensive track record in the gaming industry, having been a former GC at Ladbrokes and regulator with the Gaming Board for Great Britain. Prior to these roles she held GC roles at Woolworths plc and Commonwealth Development Corporation. She is currently Chairman of the Independent Compliance Committee of Caesars Entertainment UK and also Chairman designate of the Gibraltar Stock Exchange.

Palwinder is Head of Legal Group M&A and Corporate at Standard Chartered Bank. With a team based in London and Singapore, Palwinder is responsible for legal support for Standard Chartered’s own account M&A and corporate activities worldwide.

Marie and Palwinder are part of PSFI’s group of Client Executives, a carefully selected group of senior clients, available for partners to work with to practice their client relationship and leadership skills. Our Client Executives are GC’s, C-suite executives and buyers of professional services. They are perfect for creating a safe and stretching space to rehearse critical conversations. Their years of experience of working with professional services clients can be relied upon to give insightful and credible feedback as to what clients really want.

In the next and last edition Marie, Palwinder and Ori discuss what to do if things go wrong.
